Microsoft Glossary Support

Localize supports a Glossary of terms when translating source content using the Microsoft AI translation engine.

• Glossary terms are automatically applied during the initial translation of a phrase that contains that term.
• There is no separate glossary sync feature like with Google or DeepL.
  • The glossary term and its translations must be present before a phrase is translated for the term to be used during translation.
• Editing a glossary term or its translation does not update existing translations.
  • You can use the View Phrases option for a glossary term to find any phrases that contain the term. If the term or its translations are updated, you can manually correct any phrase translations where required.
• Supported language pairs include English to a supported non-English language, or any supported language to English.
  • It does not support non-English to non-English translations.
