Emails Management

Tools to help you manage your Localize for Emails Project

Use the following tools to help manage all of the Emails in your Localize for Subtitles project. To get an overview of how to use Localize for Emails, see our Quickstart guide.

Create a Folder

You can use folders to organize the Emails in your project. You can also have subfolders within folders if you need them.

  1. Click Create Folder.
  2. Enter a name and click Create.

Move a Folder or an Email

Option 1: Drag-n-Drop

  1. To move a folder or Email, simply click on it and drag it into a folder.

Option 2: Right-Click

  1. Right-click or control-click on a folder or Email in the list.
  2. Select Move to.
  3. Select the desired location and click Move.

Rename a Folder or Email

  1. Right-click or control-click on a folder or Email in the list.
  2. Select Rename.
  3. Make the desired change and click out of the text entry field to save the changes.

Copy an Email

Create a copy of an existing source Email.

  1. Right-click or control-click on an Email in the list.
  2. Select Copy
  3. A copy of the source Email will be created in the same folder, prepended with "copy-of-".
  4. Note that copies of any translations of the Email will NOT be created.

Download an Email

  1. Right-click or control-click on an Email in the list.
  2. Select Download.
  3. Select a location to store the Email (if asked) or look in your downloads folder.

Delete a Folder or Email

Delete a source Email and all translated versions.

  1. Right-click or control-click on a folder or an Email in the list.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Click Confirm to confirm the deletion.

Loss of Data

Both the source Email and all of the translations will be permanently deleted.
If deleting a folder, all folder contents will be permanently deleted.
